Hacksaw Gaming isn’t done with the Wild West. After Wanted Dead or a Wild, 2 Wild 2 Die, Duel At Dawn, and Bullets and Bounty, the studio is heading back out to the desert one more time with Buried by Night. This one’s landing on 10th November 2026, and going by the teaser art, you’re in for another grizzled gunslinger staring you down while the sun dips below the horizon.
The tagline says it all: as the sun sets, will you make it out alive? That’s the vibe here. It’s less “friendly saloon” and more “you’d better watch your back.” Fits right in with the rest of Hacksaw’s Western lineup, which has never been shy about mixing gunfights with big multipliers.

The demo isn’t live yet. Once Hacksaw Gaming’s Buried by Night officially launches, we’ll swap this out for the real playable demo so you can try it for free before risking any cash.
Features
The game runs on a 5×4 grid with payline wins, and it’s rated 4 out of 5 for volatility, so you’re looking at a swingier ride rather than steady, small drips. The max win sits at 15,000x your bet, which is right in line with what Hacksaw’s other Western releases have offered.
DuelRows
The headline feature is DuelRows. Landing VS symbols triggers an expanding horizontal row across the grid, and each DuelRow that appears kicks off a multiplier duel. Whoever wins that duel decides the multiplier, and it gets applied to every win connected to that row. If you’re lucky enough to land more than one DuelRow on a single win, their multipliers combine, which is where the bigger payouts come from. It’s basically Hacksaw’s classic VS/duel formula, just reworked into rows instead of reels this time.
Bonus Games
Buried by Night comes with two bonus games you can trigger through normal play, plus a Hidden Epic Bonus on top of that. Hacksaw hasn’t published the full details on how each one plays out yet, but based on how the studio has built its past Western slots, expect free spins with boosted DuelRow activity and a progressively better payout ceiling the deeper you get.
Verdict
We’re still waiting on the finer details, but the shape of Buried by Night looks familiar to anyone who’s played Hacksaw’s other Western slots. DuelRows is a solid twist on the VS symbol formula the studio keeps refining game after game, and a 4/5 volatility rating paired with a 15,000x cap suggests a slot that can hit hard when it wants to. Once the full release drops in November, we’ll update this review with the complete feature breakdown, RTP figures, and our final rating.
