Demonic Dolls is Hacksaw Gaming’s voodoo-themed cluster pays slot, released on October 6, 2026. Two stitched-up, button-eyed doll characters sit on either side of the grid in a creepy attic setting, joined by a bell-tailed snake. They look more mischievous than scary – think “pranking the neighbours” energy rather than actual horror – though one of them does have an axe in its head, so make of that what you will. The dolls get progressively nastier-looking as you move into the bonus rounds.

The whole game revolves around Wild Rattle symbols that merge, grow, and stack multipliers. It’s not overloaded with features, but the core mechanic has real teeth.

Play Demonic Dolls Demo

You can try Demonic Dolls for free right here. The demo plays exactly like the real thing – same mechanics, same features, same payouts – but with play money instead of real cash. It’s the best way to get a feel for how the Wild Rattle merging works and see whether the game clicks for you before putting anything on the line.

Basics

You’re playing on a 5×5 grid with cluster pays. That means you need 5 or more matching symbols touching each other (horizontally or vertically) to form a win.

The max win is 10,000x your stake, which is reachable in all game modes. Volatility is medium (3/5), and the hit frequency sits at 39.8%. That’s roughly two winning spins out of every five, so you won’t be staring at dead spins for ages between features. Bets range from $/€0.10 to $/€100.

There are ten pay symbols. The low payers are your standard 10 through A royals. The premiums are buttons, wool, axes, honey jars, and bow ties. A cluster of 5 matching symbols pays between 0.1x and 1x, while the biggest clusters (16+ of a kind) pay 10x to 500x.

Wild Rattle Multipliers and Respins

Wild Rattle symbols work as regular wilds (they substitute for everything), but they also carry multiplier values. These can be anywhere from 2x up to 100x, with stops at 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 7x, 8x, 9x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, and 50x along the way. When a Wild Rattle is part of a winning cluster, the whole win gets multiplied. If two or more Wild Rattles are in the same cluster, their multiplier values are added together first, then applied.

The merging mechanic is the real draw. When two Wild Rattles of the same size end up in the same winning cluster, they trigger a Respin sequence. All wilds on the grid move to new random positions, and two of them merge into a bigger 2×2 Colossal Wild Rattle. The new Colossal Wild keeps the combined multiplier value of both originals. If four Wild Rattles are in the same win, you get two Colossal Wilds.

Respins keep going as long as two same-sized Wild Rattles are part of a win. Two 2×2 Colossal Wilds in the same cluster merge again into a 3×3 Colossal Wild. Every single Respin awards a win, so the whole sequence builds on itself. On a cluster pays grid, a 3×3 wild is massive – it covers over a third of the board and can connect a lot of clusters at once.

Bonus Games

There are three free spins rounds, each triggered by scatters in the base game. All three give you 10 free spins.

  • All Dolled Up is the entry-level bonus, triggered by 3 scatters. It plays like the base game but with a higher chance of landing Wild Rattle symbols.
  • Bad Omens triggers with 4 scatters and steps things up. It keeps everything from All Dolled Up, but now one Wild Rattle is guaranteed to land on every free spin. On top of that, all Wild Rattles carry a minimum multiplier of 2x.
  • Playtime is Over is the Hidden Epic Bonus, triggered by landing 5 scatters. Same rules as Bad Omens, except now two Wild Rattles are guaranteed on every spin, all with a minimum 2x multiplier. Having two guaranteed wilds per spin means you’re almost always one good landing away from triggering a merge sequence. This is where the 10,000x max win feels most realistic.

Feature Buys

If you don’t want to wait for scatters, there are a few buy-in options. BonusHunt FeatureSpins cost 3x your bet and make each spin five times more likely to trigger a bonus. Dead Cute FeatureSpins cost 50x and guarantee at least 2 Wild Rattles per spin. You can also buy All Dolled Up directly for 75x or Bad Omens for 250x. Playtime is Over can’t be purchased – you have to hit those 5 scatters naturally.

Verdict

Demonic Dolls is a solid cluster pays slot. It doesn’t try to drown you in cascading mechanics and layered bonus systems. Instead, it does one thing well: Wild Rattles that merge, grow, and stack multipliers. The snowball effect when respins chain together is genuinely satisfying, especially when a couple of small wilds end up combining into a 3×3 block covering most of the grid.

The three bonus rounds are simple – they just crank up wild frequency and add minimum multipliers rather than introducing new mechanics. That’s fine. It keeps the game easy to follow and means you already know exactly how the features work before you even trigger one.

The 39.8% hit rate keeps things moving between features, and the medium volatility means you’re not going to burn through your balance in ten minutes. The 10,000x max win and the Hidden Epic Bonus give you something to chase on the upside. The voodoo doll theme has more personality than most seasonal slots, and it doesn’t lean so hard into Halloween that it feels weird to play in March.
