Fist of Destruction Megamultiplier is Hacksaw’s follow-up to the original brawler, and it’s landing on September 17, 2026. Same fighting theme, same expanding fist wilds, but with a bigger ceiling and a new headline mechanic bolted on. There’s no demo yet, so a lot of this comes from early pre-release info.
What’s the Same
At its core this is still Fist of Destruction. You’ve got a 5×4 grid with fixed paylines and two fighters squaring off either side of the reels. The star of the show is the Fist Wild Reels. Fist symbols expand to fill a reel and turn wild, and when a fist punches through an opposing fighter or another wild, it picks up a multiplier. Land a few of those in the right spots and the wins start stacking up fast. If you played the first game, you’ll feel right at home.
What’s New
Two big changes. First, the max win has jumped from 10,000x to 15,000x, so there’s more to chase at the top end.
Second, and this is the one the game’s named after, there’s the Megamultiplier mechanic. Land three Megamultiplier symbols and you’re instantly handed the full 15,000x max win. That’s a genuinely different way to hit the ceiling and it’s the main reason to be curious about this one.
The early specs also mention a cascading reels mechanic, which the original didn’t lean on. How that plays with the wild reels hasn’t been explained yet, so file that under “wait and see.”
On the bonus side there’s a lot going on. The listing points to two throwdown bonus games plus two separate Megamultiplier bonuses. That’s four feature rounds, which is a lot, though the full mechanics of each are still under wraps. A bonus buy has been confirmed too, but pricing and what it awards haven’t been shared.
Numbers
This is where you need to pay attention. Volatility is rated high, the full 5 out of 5, up from the original’s 4 out of 5. So expect bigger swings and longer gaps between wins. This isn’t a casual, tick-along kind of game.
RTP comes in several configurations, and the top one is 96%. The catch is those configs go all the way down to 86%, and it’s the casino that picks which one they run. That’s a big spread, so it’s worth checking what version a site is offering before you commit real money. An 86% RTP game is a very different proposition to a 96% one.
Verdict
On paper, Fist of Destruction Megamultiplier looks like a punchier, higher-risk version of a game that already did well. The Megamultiplier symbol is the interesting bit, giving you a fast, clean route to the 15,000x max win instead of grinding through a bonus for it. Four feature rounds and a bonus buy mean there’s plenty to dig into.
But the high volatility and that wide RTP range mean this is aimed squarely at players who can stomach big swings and dry spells. If you liked the original and want more of the same with a bigger top end, this should deliver. If you’re more of a casual player who likes steady action, this probably isn’t the one.
